Our staff, from front office to doctor to kennel staff, shares the common goal of providing compassionate, high-quality medical care that is the very best we have to offer. Kind souls, a wealth of experience, and the love of pets is at the heart of our exceptional crew.

Veterinarians

Dr Eddit HeathDr Eddie Heath graduated from Texas A & M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1985. He received two Bachelor Degrees while playing football for the fighting Texas Aggies. His undergraduate degrees are in Biomedical Science and Veterinary Science. He has spent the last 25-plus years practicing veterinary medicine. Dr. Heath worked with four different veterinary practices as an associate until he opened All Pets in 1993. Through this invaluable experience, he was able to encounter different philosophies and gain insights at each hospital. He took the best ideas from each and applied them to All Pets. When time permits he enjoys many outdoor sports: Anusara yoga, gardening and landscaping at his farm in Weaverville. Dr. Heath shares his home with his son, Nathan, and daughter, Caity, as well as three dometic short hair cats – Beege, Snowshoe and Orange Julius (all spayed and neutered) – and two dogs – Betty Boop, a spayed Boston Terrier and a very enthusiastic Flat-Coated Retriever mix named Tripp, that he adopted from the Buncombe County Animal Shelter.

Dr Lyn BedsaulDr. Lyn Bedsaul joined our team August 2003. She spent eight years in Knoxville, TN, attending the University of Tennessee. At that time she received a degree in Bachelor in Science and Agriculture/Animal Science and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Following veterinary school, she and her husband moved to Northern California, where she practiced small animal and exotic medicine for over three years. Dr. Bedsaul is currently working on her accreditation for Canine Rehabilitation at University of Tennessee. Her interest are soft tissue surgery, dermatology, as well as getting to know clients and their pets! She and her husband Kris have two children, Paige and Claire, one dog Marsi, one cat Fran, and one guinea pig Rocky. In her spare time she enjoys hiking and mountain bike riding.

Dr. Vinnie Gibaldi joined the All Pets team in 2009. A native of Miami, Fl, Dr. Gibaldi has over 20 years of practice experience with small animal and exotic pets. Dr. Gibaldi holds his degree in Biology from Trinity University, San Antonio, Tx and graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine 1989. Before attending veterinary school he spent a year working at the San Antonio Zoo and two years working at the Miami Zoo. Prior to joining the All Pets team, Dr. Gibaldi practiced in Tampa, and Lake Worth, Fl.

A visit to Asheville the winter of 2007, first peaked his interest in the area. After several more visits, some soul searching and a desire for change, he initiated a move to the mountains. Dr. Gibaldi shares his home with his partner John, their three dachshunds, Oscar, Gigi, and Stretch, seven cats, Debbie, Esmeralda, Felix, Lili, Mighty, Sassy and Sparky. Dr. Gibaldi enjoys a vast array of interest including hiking, biking, exploring the mountains, sports, dining, gardening, movies and physical fitness.

Dr. Gibaldi is a member of the AVMA, AAHA an is involved in ChainFree Asheville. 

An accumulation of prior experiences, current philosophies and a passion for veterinary medicine have made for a perfect formula at All Pets.

 

Dr Ginny GrantDr. Ginny Grant is a native of Western North Carolina, having grown up in Hendersonville. She has lived in Asheville since 1989. Dr. Grant holds her degrees from North Carolina State University in zoology and graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 1988.

She joined the All Pets team in 2006 and enjoys working with cats and dogs as well as birds, reptiles and small mammals. She is a member of the AVMA, NCVMA and a former president, vice president and program chair for the WNC VMA. She also served on a committee of managers for R.E.A.C.H. Hospital in 2007-2008.

In her free time she enjoys walking and hiking in beautiful Western North Carolina. She also enjoys traveling on a frequent basis, relishing time with friends and exploring new vistas. Dr. Grant practices yoga daily and has been a certified yoga instructor since 2001. She lives with her cats Gonzo and Sadie in North Asheville.

 

Veterinary Technicians and Assistants

Laura WellsLaura Wells works as veterinary assistant and is the supervisor for the technical staff. She has been with All Pets since January 1996. She hold a Bachelor in Science degree in Biology from Virginia Poly-Technical Institute in Blacksburg, VA. She shares her home with two dogs Dutches BooBoo Princess Zoey and Skyla, and one cat Daphne Mickray, all of which are spayed and neutered. Laura enjoys spending time in nature hiking, gardening as well as traveling to exotic destinations.

Shannon Christie-WickhamShannon Christie-Wickham, RVT has been a staff member since 1998. She was born in Charlotte, NC and received an A.A.S. degree in Veterinary Medical Technology from Central Carolina Community College in Sanford, NC. She worked in the Surgery-Anesthesia department at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine for five years before joining the All Pets team. Shannon shares her home with her husband Steve, her daughter Sarah and multiple cats and dogs all of whom are spayed and neutered. Shannon and Steve are foster parents in the Buncombe County network.

 

Megan MayMegan May, RVT joined the All Pets team in 2003. She received her degree in Veterinary Medical Technology from Gaston Community College in Gastonia, NC May 2003. She works as a receptionist and a technician. She lives in Swannanoa with her dogs, Gypsy and Foxy and 3 cats. In addition to enjoying her veterinary career, Meg also enjoys pottery, gardening, knitting and riding motorcycles.

 

 

 

Tammy GreggTammy Gregg, RVT has been a part of the All Pets staff since May of 2006. She completed the veterinary medical technology program at AB Tech in August 2006 (which was the first graduating class from AB Tech). Tammy shares her home with her husband, Brian, and her son, Zachery. Tammy has two dogs (a German Shepherd, Max, and a Belgian Shepherd, Tommy), a domestic longhaired cat (Smokey) and several parrots. Her passion in veterinary medicine is assisting with surgery and rehabilitation. Tammy is involved in her church and also enjoys many crafts including quilting, stained glass making and mixed media painting.

 

Aja Bach -  has worked as a Veterinary assistant at All Pets since 2008. She enjoys spending time within the Asheville Art Community, participating in the Asheville Mardi Gras celebration and Asheville Santa Con, to name just a few. She shares her home with a neutered male cat, Agent Cooper, and a mixed breed dog named Rosie. Aja enjoys time spent in the mountains, photography, reading, traveling and costuming.

 

Bethany Ritch, RVT graduated with honors from AB Tech's Veterinary Medical Technology program in 2009. She is a native of Asheville. Bethany has many interest in the veterinarian field such as feline behavior yet enjoys all species interactions, educating clients, helping animal to have a better quality of life, assisting with dentals . Bethany and her husband Jonathan share their home with two daughters, four cats Sascha willow Elvis and Beatrice, three dogs Hannibal Molly and Shadow, two corn snakes Maize and Chedder, and four chickens Al Torchique Daisy and petunia. She enjoys evening walks with her dogs, gardening, reading, fishing, hiking, yoga and alternative, herbal medicines, and volunteering at Brother Wolfe during the summer.

Claudine Auld, RVT graduated from AB Tech's Veterinary Medical Technology program in 2009. She has been apart of the team since August 2010. Claudine is originally from Corona, CA and was attracted to the beauty and outdoor opportunities of the Asheville region. She says one of her passion in veterinary medicine is the adorable kittens. Claudine shares her home with her partner Ian, Paddington a Welsh Corgi, Rory a Golden Retriever mix, 2 cats named Hunter and Einstein, and a Lop-eared rabbit named Hoss. She enjoys playing tennis, basketball and has a special affinity for cats.

Jamie Heath is a certified veterinary assistant, a degree she obtained from Blue Ridge Community College in 2008. She hails from Lynchburg, VA. Her passion in veterinary medicine is educationg clients and advocating for pet recovery through microchipping. She and her partner Jo share their home with 2 dogs named Bones and Chewy, 3 cats, Koda, Zuri and Tigger. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, canoeing, knitting and reading.  

Kari Sager works as a veterinary assistant and has been a part of the All Pets team since July 2010. Kari is originally from West Palm Beach, Fl and graduated from Florida State University in Environmental Science in December 2009. Kari shares her home a mixed breed dog Troy, two domestic shorted haired cats, Pawsome and Monkey, and her rabbit Norm. Her passion in the veterinary medicine is the human - animal interaction in the medical setting as well as educating clients. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, volunteering, and spending time with friends and family. Kari aspires to hike the Appalachian Trail.

 

Kennel and Grooming Staff

 

JoyceJoyce Haun has been a member of the All Pets Kennel staff since 2002. She is passionate about working with and caring for the pets while they are here boarding. She has a special talent for easing the nerves of animals that are aggressive and afraid. She also shares her home with her dog Buster, a Boxer – and one cat, Possum. Joyce has two daughters, Brittany and Deana, and a son, Mickey. She enjoys walking, music and spending time with her children.

Nikki Cox is a student at A-B Tech in the veterinary technology program. Nikki works as a kennel and veterinary assistant. She is originally from Milwaukee, WI and moved to the Asheville area as a child. Nikki has a cat named Stewie and occassionally fosters pets. She enjoys swimming, hiking, and relaxing.

 

DanielleDanielle Babbitt has been a member of the All Pets staff since December 2006. She attended AB Tech to receive an Associate in Science in 2008. She aspires to become a veterinarian. She shares her house with her partner Aaron, Leah a sheep dog mix, ball python Jon-val-John, and one cat named Fat Cat. In her spare time she enjoys riding horses, riding motorcycles, and drag racing in South Carolina.

 

Front Office Staff

Frieda Pope

Frieda Pope works as a receptionist and has been a staff member since March 2000. She and her husband, John, have two children, three furry children, which include two spayed dachshunds – Shelly and Mandy and one cat Ari Emilio. Frieda enjoys many outdoor activities as well as being involved in her church.

 

Kerbi JenningsKerbi Jennings has been a member of the All Pets front office staff since November 2007. She is a native of Asheville. She and her husband Dennis have three Doberman Pinschers: Zadyne, Gymyni and Tandi. Kerbi received a criminal justice degree from AB tech in 2006, since she started working here with the wonderful clients and the loveable pets she decided to stay in the veterinarian field. Kerbi enjoys hiking, yoga, gardening, spending time with friends, camping and shopping.

 

Katie Rosenthal works as a receptionist since April 2008. She is originally from Lake Alfred, FL. Katie received her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Polk State College. She enjoys the friendship (special bond) she makes with clients and their pets. She shares her home with 4 mixed breed dogs, Eddie, Allie, Izzy and Monkey MaGoo, as well as two cats named Lulu and Ruby, all of whom are spayed and neutered. In her spare time Katie enjoys camping, hiking, kayaking, reading and photography.

Julie Ingle, joined our family in 2008 and has stepped aside as All Pets Animal Hospital's primary groomer to pursue nursing school, leaving our grooming clients in the very capable hands of Abbie Baggett. In the meantime, she will join the team up front as our newest receptionist. Julie shares her home with her husband, two of her three sons, Doc the CH Boxer and Bruiser the Chihuahua mix. In her spare time Julie enjoys shopping, crafts and spending time with friends and family.

 Claudia Peterson has been a part of the All Pets team since 1997 and works as office manager. Originally from Nuernberg, Germany. Prior to joining our team, Claudia worked for many years in the human medical field. Claudia is the mother of three girls, and a grandmother of one girl and one boy. She and her husband Mike share their home with three cats, an Australian Terrier named Hurley who are all microchiped as well as spayed and neutered, and a corn snake named Cornellius. They enjoy spending time in the outdoors camping, hiking, and rafting.

Chowder, aka Chowskins, Chow-Chow, Chowski, is our 16yo Domestic Shorthair tabby and in-house mascot. His duties include but aren't limited to: office chair occupant/warmer, neck warmer, demander of food, creative analyst, computer technician/trouble shooter (and oftentimes trouble-maker) and wanna-be receptionist.  He hails from the Madison County Animal Shelter and life just wouldn't be the same around here without him and his frequent antics.

 

Joe Corriveau is a licensed residential contractor and keeps all things mechanical, going, around the hospital.  Joe and his wife Carol share their home with 2 cats and 5 dogs, one of which is a Hurricane Katrina rescue.
