In December of 1993, All Pets Animal Hospital opened its doors with three staff members – Dr. Eddie Heath, a part-time veterinary technician, and a receptionist – dedicating itself to pets and people of Buncombe and Madison counties. Currently, our staff numbers 13, plus Drs. Heath, Fletcher, Bedsaul and Grant. The steady growth of All Pets is a testament that quality medicine and service are important to the people of Western North Carolina.

Dr. Heath created All Pets with the belief that pets, an integral part of the family unit, hold a special place in the hearts of their owners. Preserving the bond between owners and their pet(s) is a huge responsibility that we are honored to have, and strengthening these relationships plays a central role in our philosophy. To that end, we take pride in making sure you are thoroughly informed about your pet’s care and we take the time to offer careful explanation as well as printed brochures and handouts.

Our setting is a first-rate office environment, designed with nurturing and state-of-the-art care in mind. Generous use of indoor plants and three zones of ventilation ensure virus and odor control and contribute to the feeling of a friendly, healing atmosphere.

More important than our facility is our staff. These carefully-selected, highly-trained caregivers share the common vision of providing high-quality medicine, surgery and service that exceeds expectations.

What our clients say…

“I have been a client of All Pets Animal Hospital for almost three years now, and the care from all the veterinarians and staff for my two dogs and three cats has been exemplary. I am particularly grateful to Dr. Ginny Grant for her skilled and compassionate oversight of my 10-year-old lab as Shiloh has successfully battled a very aggressive form of cancer over the past five months. Dr. Grant spent hours coordinating her treatment with the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at the University of Tennessee and has stayed vigilant about her follow-up care. She patiently explained everything that was going on and gave me great comfort as I, too, struggled to get through this ordeal. As a result, we’re all looking forward to celebrating Shiloh’s 11th birthday this summer.” ~ Susan Reardon

“I have been involved with owning, breeding, showing and judging dogs for more than 30 years, and I’ve been a client of All Pets since moving to North Carolina in 1996. The care my dogs have received is outstanding in every way. Services range from routine health checks, annual vaccinations and dental procedures to challenging diagnostics, emergency treatments and end-of-life care. Both Drs. Heath and Fletcher have always provided supportive, professional, high-quality service.” ~ Barbara Pepper

“Words cannot express the appreciation we feel fro the care the staff at All Pets has given our animals over the past 13 years. We feel they are part of our extended family and completely trust their decision-making process. Their professionalism and attention to detail spans from the front office staff to the doctors and technical staff all the way to the kennel staff. Thank you so much for being there for us and our animals from the early life stage to the geriatric stage.” ~ Renee and John Garcia
